Emmett E. Seltzer
Mr. Seltzer represents general contractors, subcontractors and developers in complex civil litigation. Additionally, he has handled personal injury, landlord-tenant, and insurance coverage litigation. He handles all phases of civil litigation from pre-litigation negotiations to pleadings, law and motion, discovery, alternative dispute resolution, trial, and enforcement of judgments and settlements.
Mr. Seltzer is a native of Southern California having moved to the Bay Area for law school. He worked as an elementary school teacher in Southern California from 1997 to 2000.
Prior to joining Boornazian, Jensen & Garthe in 2005, Mr. Seltzer practiced at a Bay Area firm where he handled toxic torts litigation, personal injury litigation, wills and trusts and estate litigation. He is licensed to practice in each of the state courts as well as the Northern and Eastern District Courts in California. Mr. Seltzer became a shareholder with Boornazian, Jensen & Garthe in 2016.
In his spare time, Mr. Seltzer enjoys cycling, skiing and baseball.
